Sky Minerals is a company that directly represents several mines in Indonesia in the Kalimantan region.  We have affiliations with some of Indonesia’s largest mining companies.  We are able to supply large quantities of coal ranging from GCV 5000 up to 6500.

 We would be happy to arrange for mine inspections and meetings with mine owners.

 Working with us has the advantage of being able to directly access several mines giving you a wide range of options, products and availability.  In addition we have key strategic relationships with loading ports and barge operators which help to guarantee on-time and reliable shipments.  Sky Minerals is run by Americans who have been living in Indonesia for 11 years and working in Kalimantan.

 We provide a full-service operation which includes assistance with contract negotiations, export licensing, pre-contract inspections, mine site inspections, on-dock inspection and independent testing as the material is loaded, and verification of proper certification procedures on the Mother Vessel.  We monitor all shipments to make sure that all contract terms are met.  We are on the ground everyday personally working with miners.

Unfortunately there are many dishonest and underfunded operators and traders in the Indonesian minerals market.  Many people have lost money because of dishonest sellers who don’t deliver what they have agreed to and buyers who do not pay or abuse the reject provisions.  We help protect you from dishonest buyers and sellers by dealing with people that we know and have worked with for years. 

Any new buyers and sellers are usually referred by existing contacts and are thoroughly vetted to insure that they meet our standards.  Be careful of the deal that sound to good to be true - it probably is.
