Background: Hello. Thank you for visiting my career website. I made this site in order to tell you a little more about myself. I am American and grew up in Northern California. My dad ran high tech companies and we lived outside of San Francisco in the East Bay (Kensington). We then moved to a ranch in Vacaville and then later to Incline Village, Nevada on Lake Tahoe. Then in 1997, my family departed for what was supposed to be a one year trip around the world. It was a journey that was to change all of our lives forever. After traveling through Central and South America, Europe, Africa and South East Asia, we arrived in Bali in April 1998. At the time, Indonesia was in a state of chaos. The Suharto regime was falling and there were riots and demonstrations all over. But in spite of this we all fell in love with Bali and decided to stay. In 2002 I was nearly caught in the Bali bomb explosion and immediately helped by giving aid and comfort to the victims. For several months after, I helped with the longer term recovery efforts. My sister, Piper, and I went to Bali International School. In 2001 I started boarding school at Scotch College in Perth, Australia. After graduation, I took a year off and worked in Bali. In 2006 I entered Bond University on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. There I studied Management and International Business. I graduated in 2008. |
