The foundation could
not exist with out the kind support of a few wonderful people who have
felt our need. Our special thanks to:
Maria is from Spain. She
found out about Kupu-Kupu from the Manager of the Melia Hotel in Nusa Dua,
Bali. Two of our young handicapped
clients are now making 500 pair of sandals for the hotel every month.
She
loves Bali and has been there several times.
In
January 2002 she made a donation of US$2,500 to our Foundation to support
our projects and activities. Thank you very much Maria.
Derek
and Gerry are from England and
like Maria, were also guests of the Melia Hotel. Gerry is disabled and
has to use a wheelchair. They come to Bali twice a year and decided to get involved with the Foundation and be our representatives in England.
There
they talked to friends and raised money trough family, friends and their
community. This year they bought us a mobile phone and motorbike
to use in our work. Thank you Derek and Gerry for your kind support.
