Wayan
is physically handicapped and suffers from Polio. He has a wheelchair and
is woodcarver.
Wayan is 24 years old. His family consist of himself, his younger brother, who is still in school, and an 84 year old grandmother. They all live in a small house.
Wayan´s father and his mother both recently died (June & July, 2002), so the whole family depends on Wayan's meager income. Even getting enough food is a struggle.
He lives in Jalan Taman Sari, Kutu, Bangli (Bali) a few kilometers from the small town of Bangli.
The thing Wayan needs the most is support finding orders and people interested to buy his work, lately he is having a hard time because he has not work at all and usually he has to accept really ridiculous prices in order to get some money for eat everyday.
Because of the death of his mother, the family's situation is really critical
