is 18 years old. He is physically and mentally handicapped. He had never
been out of his house and was never seen by a doctor or physiotherapist.
He had never seen a wheelchair in his life until Kupu-Kupu give him one. Now he needs to be trained and he and the family need to be encouraged to use it.
As many of our friends with disabilities in Bali, his parents try to take care of him as best they can but they lack the knowledge to do it properly. The family is too protective and does everything for him.
He lives in a quite isolated area in a small village. He has no skills at all so he spends the most of the day doing nothing and lying down.
Kupu-Kupu sponsored a physiotherapist for a month to work with him. He could use a lot more but we could not afford to continue the treatments.
