NEWS!! Yudisthira Takes
Delivery
(Denpasar, 1 December 2001) After years of struggling every day to find transportation for it's field teams, Yudisthira took delivery today of a brand new Izusa Bravo Super Van. The Foundation has been fund raising for this vehicle for more than two years. 75% of the money for the van came from the generosity of the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), which is the Foundation's major sponsor. Other donations came from Astra Izusu International, Moria Spain of England and dozens of individuals. The van is ideal for the foundation's work because it has room for up to 12 people or can be configured to carry 9 people and equipment. In the past vehicles were borrowed and rented. This caused great inconveniences, delays and costs. Many times the vehicles were too small to carry all of the people and equipment. Also, borrowed vehicles would often break down. Dr. Listriani, the foundation's managing veterinarian, said, "We the van will be used both in the foundation's field clinics and its street work. Even though it is large, it still can also be used for the dog catching. We are all so happy to finally have dependable transportation. Thank you WSPA and others." Wave if you see us on the street!!
